John has worked for IRDNC since 1993. He holds an MBA in Nature Conservation and founded the Kunene Elephant Walk from his thesis. He is currently pursuing his PhD in Nature Conservation. John has worked in all aspects of the field programme, i.e. tourism, NRM, and Conservancy Support, and is skilled in advocacy, conflict resolution, negotiations and often represents IRDNC and the wider CBNRM programme internationally. Jointly, with the Board of Trustees and the COO, he sets strategic direction, supports fundraising activities, ensures plans are implemented and delivers IRDNC goals sustainably.
